That sounds like Sweden. From what I recall, they have the most strict automotive laws in the EU.

Ever since that fascist OPP chief Fantino convinced the fool Ontario politicians that immediate seizure of your car and $1000's in fines for 50 km/h over the highway limit with no explanations allowed would boost votes, they enacted it into law here. Now to throw fuel on the fire, the pursuit of making sensible car mods illegal just makes everyone with a backbone and a brain want to give Big Brother and his jackbooted thugs the finger by running nitrous etc. and taking our chances.

Now I feel better I think the comments about limiting horsepower mods to what your car's chassis and engine parts can safely cope with on the road is sage advice.

The stats for deaths due to speeds 50km/h over the limit never did support it. I wouldn't worry about them outlawing car mods. It would close down an industry that makes millions each year. Business owners (voters) would not allow that to happen.

In many EU countries mods even as small as wheel upgrades have to be inspected and approved and added to the ownership.

I guess that's an ok deal if he is installing it etc. But you could save yourself about 500+ bucks if you were willing to install it yourself. It's not hard , just time consuming. Mount bottle, run line to motor, disconnect battery, mount soleoids, install evo fuelrail, connect line from fuelrail to fuel solenoid ,nitrous to nitrous solenoid, mount relay , connect relay , run switches through firewall, mount switches, connect solenoids to power source, done. Fill the bottle and test her out.

But if you do get him to do it tell him to mount everything with mounted hangers (NO ZIP TIES) if has yo us a zip tie here or there tell him to show you where he did. Also do NOT cut the fuel line to skimp out of the evo rail. If you want a little cheaper tap the stocker. Like he said though , start off slow and work your way up, respect it and it will reward you.

Stock evo 8-9 fuelrail would work fine , aftermarket would be a waste of money. Stockers can be found for 20-30 bucks shipped in the evo section

The nitrous if you get a good kit is fairly easy to install. depending on what kit you use though could be an issue, the zex kit for example while the safest needs some things changed around to work right on our car

K I'm curious what exactly you guys are talking about in changing the ZEX install. I have the Zex kit installed on my car, I could show you how to hook it up its so easy. I didn't get the Evo fuel rail myself I just did the inline splitter haven't had any issues, obviously it would be nicer to get the other F.Rail but it isn't mandatory.

The fuelrail connection is mandatory if your wanting a larger shot. But I'd get it done just for simple peace of mind. You can either buy a used evo one or tap the stocker. Not doing so can be risky, you know how your not supposed to have cats around babies because the cat will put it's face right up next to the babies face and steal the air from it and eventually could kill the baby.... Well with your nitrous "T" your stealing the fuel needed to run the car, to run the nitrous which shouldn't be a big deal since the fuel pressure will try to keep up , but it's a game of cat and mouse. It's your car though do what you will.

What the **** is that crap?

Anyways, the rest of what he says is right, you *must* add fuel when using nitrous, otherwise you're just going to lean out the engine and melt/break things.
