no there is no sensor that says theres coolant in the oil, maybe u blew a fuse somewhere..?

u say u had fuel then not, reset the ecu and are gettign a battery and then u had fuel again after resetting the ecu..does it run again or not?

if u had the head shaved maybe its got just enough extra compression to not run right maybe?

ps if u can take it to a local parts store u can get it scanned for free, or depends where u go u can get a code reader for like $30 or less..even harbor freight has decent ones...it shoots u the code and sometimes a brief description on what it is..

So start over from the beginning. Check again for fuel, spark, and compression. If those are all good, check your valve timing and ignition timing again.

Try to find someone local with a datalogger, who wouldn't mind coming over and recording a couple attempts to start. Then you could check various sensors and input/output signals to/from the ECU.

do you guys think i might have too much compression? does this sound like a possibility? i read about 160psi in all four cylinders.

160 is actually below the low limit. Should be 226, with 164 being the lowest acceptable reading.

You are checking compression with all four spark plugs out and throttle wide open, correct?

hmm cant figure it out still. im gonna take it to speedy to have them run diagnostics. they can get it running for sure. itll be a little pricey. like 160 just for troubleshooting it, but they havent let me down yet.

ill let you guys know what it is after they troubleshoot it on monday.
thisll be good info for the ralliart archives lol.

i'd be PO'D if some1 did that to my car...

anyway hope u got it running better now hopefully all fixed..
as far as im aware there is no master key for the gas caps...unless you calll the manufacturer and im sure they would just sell you a new key for your specific cap...not send u some kind of master key..
