Deciding on buying this need help!
I'm in Winnipeg so I know what this dude is questioning... The car is bought by the only auto insurance we have in Manitoba upon being written off. Then they auction all these written off vehicles to the public for either parts cars or to be rebuilt. I've personally been to these auctions and have a buddy who has bought a cobalt ss and rebuilt it.
You can actually go look at the vehicle in the compound and assess the damage visually. This ralliart has a salvage title, so it shouldn't be in terrible condition and its possible you could get it very cheap if no one else bids on it. It really depends what you plan on doing with the car. I've been tempted to buy the rare ralliart that goes through these auctions for a parts car as they often go pretty cheap. Oh and they don't give you information on the vehicle because for the most part I honestly don't think they have enough knowledge about the vehicles running through those auctions to be of much help. You'll have to go take a look at the car yourself to decide if its worth it or not.
Side note - its sad to see another of the remaining 12 ralliarts in Winnipeg get written off...

I wouldnt pay too much for it. It says the fender is twisted. If the rad support is bad, that means drilling out spot welds, grinding, and welding a new one on. I know mk2 and mk3 vws rad support just bolts on and off. Our car has spot welds. Its kinda a pain in the rear. I had to do one on my h22a swapped accord.
