Hey,

has anyone tried this OT-2 product from innovate?

Haven't used it but it looks pretty limited in capabilities. OBDII signals aren't all that useful for much except diagnosis and it won't read the proprietary Mitsu signals (which are useful).

Something like this would be much better:

Or this:

I have a DashDAQ, it's a great and incredibly robust tool, but it is spendy. Great for if you need something that will allow you to do data logging anytime/all the time.

EvoScan tends to be the standard for logging in Evos and it does (mostly) work on our cars. Not all the formulas are correct but that is something you can fix if you have the time and know how.

Nothing like this is going to give you any sort of accurate HP. For that you're going to need to spring for dyno time at your next local dyno day.

There are a few apps that can do this in conjunction with an OBD II adapter(bluetooth or wifi). The adapter you can buy from ebay for $20 and the apps range from $4.99 to $50. I am currently using Torque, it's an ok app. Like Otter said not all the formulas are correct plus not all the readings (mpg, HP, torque) are accurate but it's fun to play with and when you get a Service Engine soon light the app can display the code and clear it.
