well you have to keep in mind... the car is like almost 5-7 years old and some are reaching high miles. stuff is bound to go wrong without being maintained at least a few times

Not often do you see anyone posting why when they first report. And when they eventually get to admitting it, it's usually some botched mod that caused a failure. If you do regular maintenance, these cars are as reliable and bulletproof as anything.

Actually, the number of such posts is low compared to other forums I check now and then - civics, eclipses, and so on - many more horror stories than here. These are good cars. And it's great the guys talk about what happens to their ride, we all learn from it.

I agree , most of the "problems" that I've heard of aren't really the current owners fault but the fault of the previous owner not keeping up with maintainence. There aren't alot of us here that are the original owners. Mine broke down only one time because of the fan controller failing and me being in the back seat not able to see the temp. gauge rising up until the radiator popped I say one break down over 6+ years isn't bad considering I have probably sprayed 50+ bottle of nitrous.

Being a forum people mostly just post here when they have a problem. Not an accurate way to make a judgement about the reliability of the car.

My car has left me stranded once - last year when my alternator finally died at around 170,000 miles. Car just turned 206,000 miles.
