Hey guys so ive done a few research. However, i feel like i came short to be surely confident on the install. I really need feedback from those people who have used it. Now, Ive heard bad things about ACT for our cars. I know that it can damage our m.cyl and can be hefty for a dd car. Ive considered those risks and went to buy the clutch anyway and now im sitting yet again on this dilemma. Should i be spending more cash on it or not. My main concern is if it will last me longer. I have a stock flywheel thats getting machined but thats all what im planning to do as $ and time isnt on my side.

I have a turbo running at 8psi with 260lbs of tq (yes overkill lol). Also, im unsure of the specs of the clutch.. All i know is. Its a sprung 4 puck heavy to push piece of crap that has a grab of 120% and rated for 503lbs of tq.. Please enlighten me! Thanks alot guys!

 

I wouldn't get the act , try spec or clutchmasters. At stage 3 I feel like it's a promise that the oem m.cyl will go out, upgrade it to an evo 8-9 one. Getting the flywheel in aluminum , do all that you can, if you can do the LSD hook it up although it will quickly double the price tag of your work.

On a different note, post up some pics of that turbo ralliart, don't you know we love seeing turbo ralliarts like a fat kid loves cake

Oh man.. I wish i had a little bit more time but I had to decide right away and pretty much went for a stage 1 ACT cuz they had stock(wonder why lol).. I wanted exedy or cluthmasters but time really isnt on my side.. Anyways I got my flywheel machined and i dont know if it would make any difference but i bought rrm's clutch line. My car is stowed for more than two weeks now and i miss it lol

On the other note, yes i will be sharing some pics and some mods once i get some days off to work on my write up.



Anyways really going off topic.. My install is friday! I'll put some reviews for ACT .. See if they can dignify their name.. Or maybe put more dirt (:

Oh i so 500 bucks regret it! Hurts so much but right now im just hoping it would be a great addition. Next one would be an upgraded cmc and a flywheel and so on. My plans to get the rpw stage 2 cams had been delayed ):

 

I still have a flywheel from an eclipse. Just grab a evo cmc for 60 bones an call it a day. i havent had issues since. Trust me..ive been through a LOT of cmcs..

 

So is there any further customization to the cmc? Is it easy install oh and its an 08-09 model right? And uhhm your using an eclipse flywheel? Sorry barrage of questions lol
