I was curious if anyone knew a solution to my infinity front speakers being very distorted when the car is in motion I.e. bumps, but it's so delicate that casual driving causes it to distort. I removed the door panels to make a more secure connection with the speaker wires but to no avail, any clue EvoM?

Edit: I realized I didn't place this in the audio section, sorry guys but hopefully this gets seen since general receives more traffic

 

maybe its possible your speakers are shot...? mine dont do that at all.

Have you visually inspected the cones?

 

does it just cut out with a bump or anything? if so their is a short somewhere i had one on the rear driver side and every time i would go over a bump or just shut the door my speakers would cut out so check that out hopw this helps.


......its time for me to do an audio upgrade as well i just dont know what speakers to go with.

 

for me i was thinking about upgrading to alpine type-r speakers all around including a new sub but thats just me thinking... i dont know for the price what would be really good options in terms of upgrades for our car if you already have the S&S package

 

It just gets static when I go over something, sounds like a losse wire but idk where, also I did check my radio bc I wired in my Alpine Type R. 12 in
