I've been dying to get into the CRC, but funding is only good enough right now to mod my daily driver for personal satisfaction, but in a few years, my brother in law and I will be starting to get into it...haven't decided if we're going 2wd or awd...

i have an 03 lancer ES, a 2006 Ralliart, and a 2000 impreza RS project car currently...so i could pick from one of those...

that was the original plan, and the reason i have the car in the first place, we were deciding between rebuilding the engine (has no compression on driver side cylinders) or doing an STi swap, but an STi swap will be pretty pricey...so i was going to research if there are non-turbo classes we can start out in, and just rebuild the motor we already have on hand...

If you want, I can out you in touch with a good friend of mine. He's a Subaru/Toyota guru. He has an sti swapped wrx that's putting out around 420-450 hp. Let me know. He used to own a shop in the area, but has since closed down. He dealt with every major parts company as well as build mega squirt systems for custom cars/applications.

The 4wd class is very competitive I plan on the 2wd class less competition and better cash to be won. Also cheaper..........

i would run the impreza bone stock just for the fun of it, i would imagine you still need spare tire, first-aid, fire extinguisher etc. i think i read the rule book way back, and door panels are required...

Brent, we will have a chat about this the next time we see eachother...
