So sadly I have to report that someone failed to yield the right away and hit my car. Minor damage to the drivers rear door with dent and scratches , rear fender and side skirt. They 17 yr old girl had insurance through C&I Mezones Insurance Agency. I have never heard of them. The cops showed up and got the whole thing written down and it will go down as her fault, but anyone have a clue as to who the insurance company is or if It looks like Im in for a rough time.

sorry to hear man. but i dont think you should be in for much hurt. your insurance should cover the cost for your fix and even if their insurance company isnt as reputable, your company will find ways to get the money from them

The insurance company should do their job although with a quick google search, I see that it was called "Super Insurance" before. Somethings just don't sound so super though....

I would get the ball rolling ASAP and when the bodyshop guy tells you when it will be done , laugh in his face and call him a liar. I have yet to find one that says what he means and means what he says.

Some kid smashed in my the driver door on my car and the body shop told mt it would take two maybe three days. Ended up being a whole friggin' week.

Thanks for the comments. Not much damage but still noticeable. Hopefully it wont take long. I called my insurance last night anf they had my agents office call me. State farm is great i got a call at 845 already, she took down all the info and got ahold of the other agency. She called me back 10 minutes later with a case claim number and the adjusters name and number. She works fast lol.

And yes i know my car is dirty. I drove for an hour behind a dirt truck while it was wet out and the black is the end result.

 

Hmmmm it almost doesn't look to bad but that just might be the pics. Wash and wax polish see how much you can better it yourself . Pocket the $ or put it towards mods just an option

 

Ill be seeing the adjuster soon, after he give an idea of how much it will run with rental fees and such Ill see what can happen. Im sure I can get most of it myself.
