Weird noise wheel related?

Ok so ill try to explain myself the best i can. This noise is only noticeable when driving at low speeds. It kinda sounds like a card rubbing on the back tire of a bicycle but more metal on metal. I changed my breaks a few days ago but it was making that noise before hand although i did notice my top slider on my caliper was stuck and i was unable to remove to it to lub it up. Could that be the cause of my problem. Also i noticed my steering wheel is a little off when the wheels are straight which means i need an alignment and to get my wheels balanced but can that be causing the ""rubbing noise""?

Thanks guys

where is the noise coming from? like split the car into quadrants, and you'll need to pull that guide pin...i had one seize, i know it's a *****, but you have to get it out of there...if you took the steering wheel off and rotated it one tooth, i wonder if that would fix it, or maybe the tie rod ends are not aligned correctly...

Seems to be comming from the front left tire area. Also forgot to add once i was driving on the highway and i almost lost my tire it was hanging off 1 lugnot all the bolts were like undone almost all the way except for one kinda holding it on. But when i was driving on it, it was banging hard. So mabey the tire wobbling back and forth banged against something and bent something??

I can only imagine what the car would of felt like with one lug nut holding the wheel on and on the hwy, you get some lotto tickets because that's ingredients for death soup.

Yeah its definitely the clutch bearing and i think my ISB is also worn out so mabey i need a trani rebuild? or cheaper to buy a used one?. I bought a new exedy clutch with a rebuilt Fidanza aluminum flywheel also went out and got the rrm udp im saving for the labor. Also the car has 125 000 km and i dont think the car has ever had the timing belt done so im gona check into that too but for now im not even driving the car its just sitting in the garage

lol, repair is always cheaper if you can manage it yourself...input shaft bearings if i remember correctly are like $30-40...used transmission i would would be at least $2-300, and would likely need a rebuild as well, lol, but if not, even if you source a tranny second hand, and can't swap it yourself, then you may as well pay for the rebuild, cause the labour involved in swapping a transmission would likely be a few hundred on top of the cost of the used transmission...if you're not comfortable taking the transmission apart, then take it out of the car and drop it off at the transmssion shop...and print out the transmission overhaul portion of the manual and give it to them...

but your noise could be coming from anywhere...i actually developed a few odd noises on my 5,000km road trip...i haven't had the time to do a solid inspection, i'll see if i can get on a lift in the next month or so...this way you can really have a good look around, wiggle stuff, check bolts for proper torque, etc...

Yeah im definitely getting the trani done at a shop. Well the noise i initially though was from the clutch bearing which i know has to be changed but i have another noise when driving which i was told couldnt be a clutch bearing and from what ive read im pretty sure its my ISB. Still saving up for the labor and still worrying about that timing belt i know with my luck ill get everything fixed up and then the timing belt will go and then im fked so probably gona have to do that all at the same time. But when everything is done ill let you guys know how the udp and new flywheel feels.

Ps: Any inputs on this 400$ timing belt kit

those are all the parts you need, but the price is pretty steep considering the "Mitsuboshi" timing belt, lol...but it does include a lot of replacement seals, but i wouldn't expect it to last another 100,000...

reminds me of the "SORNY" TV on the simpsons...or oakey sunglasses in the middle east...

So i just got my clutch changed as my ToB was making alot of noise now that its done its still making the same noise when i push in the clutch it goes away and when im driving makes alot of noise mostly in first n second pretty sure that means its the input shaft which makes me very sad gona have to pay to get all of that work done again + the price of a new trani
