it's a 2 step launch control, you mash the pedal to the floor and it will only rev to the preset rpm limit as long as the car is not in motion, so you can floor it, and dump the clutch and get the same launch every time, works well in bracket racing ...it's now lowered to 3000, but i would like it at 2800 because the turbo spools so fast...

i know AWD guys that launch at 5000, and use "no lift to shift", which feels really weird, lol...

When you say "no lift to shift" do you mean they keep their foot on the gas when shifting?

So i found this Magnaflow muffler 14829 video on Youtube that i like. Sounds like it gives the car a nice sound, makes it louder but it doesn't sound like a riced Honda. What do you guys think?

That's what I have also, the magnaflow 14829. In general exhausts on Mitsu's have that nice deep tone, even on my old 1.8L mirage.

That's my car haha

It's deepened itself out over time, got a tad louder, but still sounds great (maybe even better)

My friend with a built 350 in his sonoma that really hates ricey exhaust loves how it sounds under load, and my other friend (who just so happened to win "loudest pipes" at a show with his built supercharged cobalt ) complimented my exhaust note a couple weeks ago, and that it "definitely sounds like you've got something doing work under the hood"

i don't like that sharp farty sound as the RPM's climb...mine doesn't do that, the cherry bomb muffler does a pretty good job of getting rid of the high frequency noise...

nerdbot, do have otherwise stock exhaust?

Stock piping, obx combo, magnaflow resonator, and magnaflow cat.

edit - actually pretty sure it says that in the vid description haha

it's embedded...what description? my bad, lol

actually since you don't have a derpy mod list, i was making it a point to the OP that if your car makes the sound they are seeking it'll take more than just the muffler
