I never would of figured that youtube video was from someone on hear lol. Yeah i defiantly think I'ma look into getting one of those mufflers, seems like the best option to get a better sound out of my R/A

I'm actually thinking about putting electronic turn outs on my R/A too like this guy did, i think it sounds pretty awesome and it'd be good for track days.



any thoughts on this? i think it makes the car sound more like a WRC rally car

 

I can't see the videos right now from work, but for that WRC sound, you'll want a turbo and anti-lag...

 

Haha yeah but don't you have to have a Turbo to get the anti-lag? lol

 

you would, if you wanted it to actually do something useful, aside from burning a tunnel through your catalytic converter , antilag is an air/fuel, timing/ignition system that allows combustion to occur on the exhaust stroke in the exhaust manifold to spool up the turbo at low rpm, even with your foot off the throttle, that's why it fires flames out the tail pipe, and sounds like a 9mm.

It's a very volatile system, and could probably be incorporated into an N/A application but would have zero benefit, with all the likelihood of blowing up your exhaust system
