Question Ultimate Racing exhaust

I'm now in the market for a new exhaust for my 04 R/A and several people have recommended the Ultimate Racing exhaust. I've found some video on youtube of the 09 R/A with the URE but none for the 04-06 R/A. The 09 R/A sounds great with the URE so i would think the 04-06 R/A sounds just as good. Dose anyone here have a Ultimate Racing exhaust, and how dose it sound, dose it give the car a nice deep growl and is it any louder than stock? Also the URE is offered with or with out a resonated midpipe, which sounds better?

Thanks

If you just want sound then go to a local muffler shop and have them weld in new muffler for you. I had a nice Magnaflow welded in for $175. It gave it a much deeper growl but has not rasp to it. Basically sounds similar to the stock exhaust tone just much louder.

yeah i am looking to get a lil more sound out of the car. Maybe a muffler would be a better option for me to go with. I'll have to look into this more. Thanks for the suggestion slc-ralliart

Cranswick has sold a few of us on the Cherrybomb muffler. I love the sound it gives, am really glad I didn't go with whole a cat-back exhaust.

try getting a borla exhaust. I will get one some time, but you can beat me to it and see how it sounds first! haha. I really think borla would sound SICK on our cars.

I never thought of putting a Cherrybomb on a Japanese Import, how dose it sound?

it's not like a glasspack, it's just a regular high flow muffler, but it's among the least expensive performance muffler and looks like OEM...here's a video

that's 3400rpm nowhere near redline (mine is 7200)...i can't hit the redline unless the car's moving...it gets louder...thing is, it's not super loud, some people like really loud exhaust, i don't...that is basically the stock tone but slightly louder...

if you can hear the exhaust over the dyno and the turbo hissing...mike redlines it in 4th gear @ 0:50
