I went to install a aftermarket sterio n went to take out the amp n sub because its **** compared to my system I have laying in my room under my dash I found a mess of wires unhooked. I took em all out and taped them together to keep what with what. I got to put the deck in all wires good I got power to my deck no sound. I took it out n found more wires tbat sparked while I was pulling it out which came from behind the factory harness. Yeah I forgot to turn the keyy from the acc to off position everyrhing still worked on my dash . I then seen more wires unkkoed hanging there so I took those out. Now I lost power to my power locks dome lights clock n deck completly. . I still have power to my windows n dasb lights cluster was still working. Sorry my spelling is horrible im on my shirty phone and am so frusterated when I get home ill take pixtures of the wire I took out n what I found unhooked can anybody tell me whay goes where when I supply pictudres. I can yake pictures of my dash when I open it up again when I get home

 

and yet everything was working before you did all the pulling and freaking out?

 

Also don't forget about your fuses, check them to make sure you didn't blow any.

 

Well the only thing I can say about everything do far is, disconnect your battery BEFORE doing ANYTHING electrically related.

 

Yeah my power locks n n speedometer worked the dome lights in mirror navi did everything else didnt. But I did find a bunch of **** taped together all in a ball of mess unhooked. I was thinking about fusss but would it be the one fuse for those applications. Like I said ill try n get pictures on here asap when I get home from work. Im working in illionois n I live in southern wisconsin so it will be a couple hours at least. Tbank you guys for the input thus far.

So... You ripped wires out, that you had no idea what they did? Were they conected to something before hand? Lol

No I bought this car used from someone who had a touch screen head unit n took it wiyh him I had never pulled apart my dash area until yesterday went I went to install a new deck my car has the stock sub n amp n navi package... The navi never worked n I never had power to my deck area that I know of.. When I pulled apart the dash I found a fm sterio modulater all ducted up with the wires wrapped up I blieve that goes with the stock system no idea tho... My amp only has yhe harness connected to it and it looks like the end of a bigger aux cord was cut... Like what I think was some kinda single rca jack er something. All with that there was three other sets of wires taped n stashed I only pulled of one set of wires which was balled up in the taped mess of wires to get the un hooked **** out. I will take pictures and explain for each how I found them n where. The one wire I pulled must have been to the power locks er speedomiter er maybe only one of them n maybe one of the other ones was connected n I did it but im pretty sure it was only the one. Trust me my mind was blown to find the wires like that inside my dash I ahould be home around 730 central.time traffic pending

 

Hooe this helps i only pulled out the big black box that kinda looks like a speaker cuz it was unhooked. N alll the blue wires which i didnt mean to but was entagled in the other stash ****

Your hesd hurts. How about no blown fuses. The only thing i took out which was on accident was the blue cables with some sort of adapter it was entangled in within all that other crap jammed back there. No way toget ahold of the previous owner... i meet him at a car show n traded stright up for my integra well not straight up he wanted his touchscreen deck . What the heck is that black lookin speaker thing?
