If you asked me for 'fir tree plugs' I would have sent you to a tree nursery... Did you describe them or just ask for 'fir tree plugs'? Maybe you should try to search for them on homedepot.com then you can find out what they are really called and ask for them by name.

With the amount of product homedepot stocks, I often will take a photo of the part/parts that I am looking for, helps the employees immensely.

lol! They are not technically called fir trees. I forget the name. Just look in the hardware section. There should be some in one of the sections.

LOL WOW! See I knew that name came from somewhere. I would take that picture to them and see. Also try Lowe's if there is one around you. I dont think I have the package anymore from my car. The only other option I can think of would be like autozone or advanced auto. I know they sell clips for like our bumpers and stuff, not sure about the fir trees. Might be worth a trip if there is one around you.

Autozone it is! Now that I remember I think i stopped at homedepo way back and they didn't have these exactly. Autozone is the place. Sorry about the confusion.

Go to an auto store near you (like autozone, o'reillys, napa, advance auto...) Tell them you are looking for fir trees, panel clips, nylon retainers, or "the small black plug things". They should at least be able to point you in the right direction. Every auto store around here (cant say the same for canadia :P) has a section with an assortment of these type of plugs just dig around for a while and you'll find them, surely. lol
