keep RA or go for evo
So I've been a member probably for two years now. I own a 04 Alliant in lightening yellow amd a 90 mustang 5.0. I also have owned am 04 sti and an srt 4 from buy g and selling quick. The problem is now I'm thinking about whether I should mod my daily driver RA or buy an evo. What do you guys think? I wamted to ask you guys because I know the evo owners would straight tell me evo but I'm in love with the RA so maybe you guys can inspire me to keep it.
Also I apologize if its in the wrong place. I usually just read instead of post.

Most people will tell you that if you just want a strong daily driver that you are not modding for power, keep your car. However, if you want that extra brutality, buy an evo and mod it to your taste. Normally, you can make much more power out of an evo than an RA.
I wouldn't modify an RA because they are great cars for what they are BUILT for. If ever power modding crosses your mind, you should automatically think evo.

Its up to you really. I will have an evo some day. But as of now Im having too much fun with my RA and I have too many things in mind for it. Its been a great car to me and Ive had a blast tinkering on it and enjoying the ride. Im in no way saying the RA is better than the Evo or anything to that effect. But the RA has a lot of untouched potential I think. Plus its fun when people come up and ask, "is that a lancer or an evo?" and you get to say, "neither. its a Ralliart." Then look at the puzzled look on their face. :P But if your not into really working on or tuning a car get the one that you will enjoy the most out of the box.

The Lancer Ralliart is an awesome DD car. I would suggest keeping what you already have and look into buying a Lancer Evolution if you want an AWD system and a more powerful motor. I enjoy driving street cars that are fun to drive anywhere, and with a decent suspension setup, the Lancer Ralliart is a lot of fun. Hope this helps.
I've got an '04 RA with 140k + miles still going strong as the DD and a little over a month old '13 X as the 'any chance i get to drive it outside the commute' car. Two totally different worlds. I was originally going to try and get some cash for the RA but i'll keep it for as long as it wants to stick around now.
