The brackets of my sun roof broke according to the shop and they need to find a complete 04 lancer sun roof . Where can I find the whole assembly kit?

 

junk yard...

i don't think it comes as an assembly...i'll have to check part numbers when i get home.

 

Yea so far no luck finding a lancer with one at the junk yard

 

you need to know what part is broken...there's a slew of parts that make up the sunroof...there's no assembly parts number...

 

if i were you i would open it up yourself and check it out. my sunroof has been out ever since i got it and i recently opened it up and found out that the little gear on the sunroof motor is all flat. in my case i just need to replace the motor or i might just try replacing the gear itself. but do open it up yourself so you know exactly what part you need.

I opened it, the motor and everything is fine . The brackets or the frame is broken. Someone forcefully opened it and broke it. Where can i find these parts other than the junk yard , cant find a sun roof there .

 

get me a detailed picture, and i'll see if I can get you a part number...

I was looking at 2004 RA parts...i dont know what year yours is but im pretty sure it will be the same as long as its 04-06

 

I have this same problem! I can do bolt on mods easily and what not...but I didn't want to mess around with taking out my headliner :/ my shop wanted 150 just to take that out to see what was wrong! crazy....
