tell me about it...

now that ECU tuning is possible, there is much broader opportunity for the platform, it's too bad...quite a few regulars have moved on recently...

It sucks. This section would really fire up if more people got their hands on the reflash I think.

I was hoping to see some crazy builds popping up like on club3g. There is a Guy that fit an Evo tranny onto the v6 twin turbo'd it then set it up with awd. Its epic.

There are plenty of ideas floating around this section (Turbo, supercharger, higher compression, v6 swap, awd swap, dohc swap) but very few of them actually happen. :/ I plan to stick with this platform for a while. So I'm hoping to play with some of the other options out there. having two 4g69 engines kinda helps that ambition tho lmao!!

it takes a special kind of person to take the time to do things like that...I did mine because I've wanted to prove it could be done on a modest budget...

True that

Geez, I've had to tend to fixing family vehicles again, so haven't finished up my RA projects. And now a pack are descending upon us for lunch, on my day off... damn... I feel like Clark Griswold.

Yea my RA projects are on temporary hold until I get that eclipse running. But Ibe enjoyed watching both of your methods of Modding. Crans like he said took the homemade Turbo road proving how it can be done for cheap and with awesome results. And RalliartN you always take a very methodical, practical, scientific route. Which I love cause it cuts out bullcrap and its very track inspired!

My my! Look what I found awaiting me on the front porch today. Why it's a 1/2" stainless steel exhaust flange for a 4g69... What could I possibly do with this???

Columbia River Mandrel Bending. RRM sells a 3/8" thick one for almost $80 I think. This one is 1/2" for $60!
