I have a 2.4L 06 ralliart. I dont know what kind of exhaust system to get. I cant find any exhaust systems that fit a 2.4L. So, i was wandering what anybody else thinks or what you have on your cars. Any info will be very helpful...

 

Don't get one. The stock system is very well designed.

If you get anything, perhaps just an expensive free flow cat and, if you want a louder sound, an aftermarket muffler. Please read the posts, this has been done to death.

Thanks because i really wasnt sure. Im probably just going to get a muffler now.

 

Personally Ive been wanting to ditch that crushed section of pipe under the steering rack, replace my cat and resonator with a big resonator, and get a different muffler. I think it would sound nice, and free up some flow.

 

I added a magnaflow muffler to the stock system and it sounds great. Nice deep tone, no rasp, less that $200 installed.

 

Reminder, I think I posted pics of solving that crushed pipe thing and different muffler.
