It was the NA 300zx 2+2 and it was stock, as is the Ralliart. The interesting thing is that the 300 has 222 bhp. This shows that regardless of weight, Hp, torque, gear ratios, and what ever other nubers you want to talk about, there is only one number that counts. In the case of this race that number is fifteen seconds. Nothing else matters.

^^^ driver's race. The best driver will win. They might have 6speed, LSD, more trq/hp... but they don't actually put it to the wheels more than us, I even heard from some specV owner that the LSD takes a way some HP/TRQ that they could put to the wheels.

If you mean just the SE-R (non specV) version, than ull beat him.

There is this guy who owns a Nissan SR-E (not SpecV because that version is not avaliable here) that brags about his car having more HP and torque than my RA and why I shouldnt have bought it, and always challenging me. The thing is that I happen to have access to an unused short plane track (in a safe enviroment OK) and Im guessing its MUCH more than 1/4 long so I dont know how this could affect me?

My Girlfriend has an '04 SE-R (non-spec) and my RA just walks away from it, so you should have no problems shutting this guy up.

the non- spec-v se-r only has 165 hp at the cranck and it doesn't put as much to the ground as the ra and its butt ugly.

i raced two cars last night "at the track" . a spec-v with cold-air intake , header, test pipe, and catback. second car was an integra gsr with skunk2 cams , cam gears, cold-air intake , header, test-pipe and catback. i took the two cars of the line. at 90 mph the spec-v and i were even and gsr behind us , but at 100mph the two car beat me by a car. i told the two guys before we raced ,"who ever hits 90 mph first win" , so it was a tie with spec-v and me. i told the guy with the gsr that my car was a sohc , he didn't belived me.

It's hard to believe the GSR lost. Are you sure it's a GSR? The last gen 'tegra doesn't show any badging from a GS to GSR. When you see an ITR, you can see it. I know for sure a GS w/ DOHC 1.8 liter can be toasted really bad by a RA.

And i've killed many RAs, it is all about the driver either way i think because they are a pretty even match. That does for auto-x and drag IMO.

Crimsonshadow, Just curious, why the spec-v? I test drove both before getiing the ralliart and I got it because I like the looks more, I like the fold down seats, the drivers possition, and of course the 100k warrenty.
