well they don't sit there till they gain traction, i think they control their traction, like in a drag strip scenario...red light, spin, yellow, spins fast with smoke, green, traction! can it be done?how?with brakes?

Yeah, thing is though, I'm pretty sure I beat the driver, not the car. Or the drivers lousy choice of modding. Either way, it was still fun.

^^^ yeah, there be a HUGE difference, and that's what just awd. DOHC with mivec means, cams change profiles on both intake and exhaust. Stock vs. Stock, we'd murder type-s easily.

In japan ther ralliart is DOHC 1.8liter MIVEC, Turbo, AWD.

In Singapore, they have a lancer ralliart turbo with a 1.6L MIVEC turbo with some sort of INVEC (or something) transmission. I think it puts out about the same number as our North American Ralliart.

jdm lancer mx touring and mx-e. has an option for awd. jdm ralliart has 165/5,500 PS/rpm and max torque 22.4/3,500 km-g/rpm (172 torque).
