The spec V makes more grip (b/c crappy RA tires) w/ a less sophisticated and refined chassis.
Braking and top speed are very similar.
I don't understand,

SpecV: 175hp / 180trq

Ralli-Art: 162hp/162trq

and we're slightly quicker to 60 and 1/4th? Even with "A-S" tires?

the Spec V has a lot of drivetrain loss. From what I've read, wheel horse power on hte Spec V is about 142hp, 155tq or something.

Ralliart is about 149hp and 148tq? I dunno. it's close.

I raced my friend in the 1/4, he has an 04 spec-v. i don't remember the times, but at the end his front bumper was at my back window. It was close, but the ralliart won. We did this a couple times and I won every time. One time he messed up his start and i reallly owned him.

It really is a drivers race

Ok, so why does the GTS own us than? SpecV has 5 less horses and 40more trq and they own a GTS, but we can slightly own a specV, is it because of 'lift'? I mean the specV has CVVT, as we and the GTS only have certain points withen the RPM which give us better accelaration.

gts weights some where 2500 pounds, if our cars weighed the same we would be a lot faster.

If it makes anyone feel any better, I've driven a GTS... my impression was that it drove like a slower s2000.... that was way uglier and had no convertible top.

kinda like moderate turbo lag w/o the turbo. And just think, in a year they won't make them anymore anyways.

...there, that should get the Toyota fanboys plenty pissed at me

Hey, did yall know we could give a mazda rx8 6speed a run for its money? I just found out they dyno stock 170hp & 131trq and weigh a shade over 3000lbs.

P.S. Also, a stock RA can take an auto RX8

They loose alot if not more drivetrain lost than a wrx.

Wow, that's pretty unimpressive. They should have kept those rotaries turbo, then they'd be contenders
