A stock 1g TSi FWD or GS-T will do approx 14.9-15.2 . . . The fastest FWD that I have read is the low 12's. AWD will be faster stock than FWD.
It takes a GSX about 550 WHP w/ 850cc injectors to run in the low 11's. SCC did their second annual US challenge thing.

Are you talking stock or modded. Stock it could hardly beat it there a heavy car, they run a 15.5 and get to 15.0 with a good driver, they make 210hp and 214tq but weigh 3199. Stock of course, this is a 97' GSX specifications. With some cash you can make them very fast.
1G Stock can do better than the 2g, because it's a tad lighter, despite the HP difference from higher CR on the 2g. The 14b turbo is MUCH better than the T25 that runs out of breath on the top end.
Those are stock 1g times, except for yahoos lighting up the line thinking they have AWD.
On my title, my TSi FWD weight w/o driver is a whopping 2715 lbs. It's about the same weight as a S13 240sx, lancers, and past gen SE-R's. On the 2g, Mitsu balloned the car w/ luxury items, just like Nissan to the S14 and the S14.5 (97-98).
