Hey u need facts for this orelse our fellow RA friends will be "unhappy" since they are hardcore RA fans. I totally agree with u that 3 is better then RA but unlike jessee he's gonna make up some facts about the RA is better then a 3 when he got no licences and no job. ITs impressive how he can do a yr and a half research on a RA

 

How about you say adding a million more mod to a RA and it will then be better then a ferrari, jessee have you ever been on a drivers seat of a RA when u got no licences

 

I believe the Lancers use a similar tire to the Imprezas?
(Correct me if I'm wrong. Imprezas come with RE-92's Potenzas usually [from what I know] and usually post skidpad numbers that are around 0.79-0.82 or something like that, which seem like RA numbers to me).
In other words, do the Lancer Ralliarts come with the RE92s? Or some other tire?

In Canada, the Mazda 3 comes with Toyo Proxes tires, which apparently are pretty good tires.

Dugrant153, about the tires, theres already a thread started about what tires do RAs come with (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ighlight=Tires ). Seems like RAs have 2 types of tires for different places. Some have Bridgestone Protebzas or the Goodyear RS-As.

 

Yes WRX's Do come with 92RE's I replaced them with some Contiextremecontacts. The Mazda came with Eagel RSA's (we got the 17's)
and I never said the RA was a bad car...I just think the 3 is a bit better car.
also..I may drive a WRX, but I'm an ex-lancer owner myself...I drove an OZ for 1 1/2 years...it was just too slow for me

If it was too slow they do have mods for that sort of problem

Oh and the RA is a totally different car then the OZ. In a nut shell, the OZ is basically an ES with some other body work and some other small mods... like sway bar and blah blah

I personally would take the RA over a Mazda 3 anyday because:

1. When I'm driving down the freeway I've seen 4 Mazda 3's in under 10 minutes. They are sooo common. Plus I saw this really gross old fat lady driving one and I don't want to have the same car as some beast ogre.
2. I really prefer the look of the RA over the 3. The 3 just doesn't appeal to me.

 

I'm well aware that there are mods for that..the car had plenty of them on it, so does my WRX. I know what mods are...I have more Horsepower in my WRX then a stock EVO. it's just that after Tons & Tons of cash thrown at the thing, it was still not fast enough for me...I thought it would have been a fun project car, but there just wasn't enough potential there for me.

I'm also sot saying that the RA is a bad car, I almost bought one my self, but I got such a deal on a used WRX, I just couldn't pass it up....don't tell me you wouldn't buy an 02 WRX with 28,000 miles for $16k if you had the chance

Nice to see a slip of the Mazda3 here too, but that slip will also show that the RA is easily quicker than the 3. I havent seen an RA that slow post a slip yet, not even in the auto...but I dont know if an auto has timed theirs yet either. And I agree with you that the OZ just doesnt have enough potential. And I paid just barely over $16 for my RA which kinda suprises me that you went with a used WRX over a new car for nearly the same money...I guess the AWD thing was just too much for you to pass up...lol.

i test drove a 02 wrx and it was damn quick, but they were trying to sell it for over 20 grand with 33k on it, so i had to pass on it. i like my ra but sometimes i wish i could have bought the wrx.

 

haha who over said an rx8 is better then an m3 should be shot for freakin stupidity the m3 is so much fast and better in every way then a rx8. personaly those cars suck yeah they might look cool but you got a freakin terd on wheels i can ride a bike faster then that dead weight car
