I cant speak of the B16 in a CRX, but I tore apart the B16 in a Civic coupe pretty much without incident. Took him off the line and kept pulling away for a LONG time. Was on the freeway onramp and in the middle of the freeway towards Vegas. It was funn beating up that car.

Lancer RA vs Impreza 2.5RS?

Obvious gain from 2.5RS is AWD.

True, but you get the power of all wheels spinning, which can be an advantage at corner exit, where FWD would understeer.

VTEC and MIVEC probably both bring out egual power from an engine, but the MIVEC system starts working around 3500rpm and keeps going until redline, whereas VTEC only works after like 6000rpm.
i'm sorry but the type-s has ivtec which engages at 3000 rpm and goes all the way through redline.

type-s has that

even my 2001 civic

another thing to consider i guess...

if your into comfort and sound, the type-s has 7 speaker bose system and leather bucket seats... i guess thats where the extra 3-4k your paying over the RA comes in. btw my sister just bought a white 04 RA, i drove it and love it's torque-ness (driven hondas most of my life) :P.

Not that it's a big deal but when I test drove the ralliart up in phoenix last weekand I not walked an 04 Eclipse GT on the highway. Did it again on the street going back to the dealership. Anyhow was wondering if anyone has takin an RRM "Stage 3" RA to the track and gotten a timeslip.

Sorry man but I am going to have to use you as an example cuz you are using something that is a pet peeve pf mine. It happens here all the time but this is one I can quoet. I dont usually flame but I have to now. First off, what is..."I not walked an 04 Eclipse GT"? What is NOT WALKED? Just curious or that a typo? And what the hell is a stage 3 RA? I hate that expression with "stage" anything!! What game of gran turismo taught people to use the word "stage" when referring to modifying cars?? OK I am done.

Well Actually refereing to stages comes from jetting motorcycles and owning BMWs and using dinan kits. Didn't mean to offend but you really don't need to come off like that. Anyhow the "Not walked" was a typo it was late and I was tired. should say, "Last weekand I walked an 04 GT" The "Stage 3" refers to a vehicle with the CAI, piggyback , and of course the exhaust. It is meant to point out how much work you've done to a car. Anyhow Hope this helps...
