Broken ebrake cable

Hello,

I tighted my ebrake cable because you could pull it all the up and it would barely stop the car , so I think I had tighted it to much because I pulled it up and then something snapped and now it doesn't work lol. So before I just go take it to a repair shop, anyone know any website that sells new ebrake cables? Or do i even need a new cable? with the center console removed, you can see that the right cable is lose while the cable closest to the driver is tight.

thanks

buy a new cable...also before tightening the cable, you should check that the shoes are not worn...there is an adjustment inside the drum brake as well that you can adjust if the shoes are worn more toward the top. Any OEM mitsubishi parts dealer can get you the cable...i'll get you a part number when i get home from work, unless someone else is kind enough to do so for you.
