Yea, keep this up, this is really good for me. I'm putting serious thought into buying an RA and I'm trying to get as much feedback as possible from owners of them. Screw dealers, they'll say whatever you want to hear to get a salle.

And Khobin, I feel exactly how you do. :P

Seems the only ones not digging the new exterior are 02 and 03 owners. Probably a little sore about their cars looking outdated so quickly. The bigass Mitsu emblem is the bomb

 

everything i like except

1. headlights.. would have stick with non-hid evo headlights
2. the windshield wiper controls.. you can't use the manual mode when it's in low/high mode without turning off th wipers and turning them on again
3. some of the interior pieces scratch easily
4. some spots, like under the hood, is not painted.. but just primered and clearcoated..

1. LOVE the MIVEC.
2. Well-balanced stereo, sounds very good for factory.
3. Great seats.
4. Handles fantastically.
5. I get looks all the time from people. That's definitely nice.

Dislikes?
1. Door panels are terrible, rattle bad @ loud volumes or during bass passages.
2. Center console isn't an armrest for us short people.

I like the four doors... coming from owning a 2000 celica GTS its a lot more room. The seats take some getting used to (to high) but not bad. Door panels rattle bad... pass the dynomat. I like the look of the strut bar. Thunder Gray looks classy...

I hate that gap in the front wheel well is bigger then the rear. The crappy red color in the seats (Katzkins here I come). The cheep plastic grill. The plate being moved to the trunk from the bumper. Plus, yes the headlights get to me a little bit... Need to get the eyelids done, But hated the old man look of the 02-03 even more.

If I got on this thread and trashed your car then you would have every right to flame back..but did I flame? No. I answered your question and kept it short. Now you wanna post trash. If you wanna flame about a car looking out dated then fine...do what you please...but MIVEC or not...I would never trade in my OZ for the RA....and my dealer has tries...countless times to put me in a RA.......but that wont happen, but that's just me.

Not putting down RA owners. I know many of you personally already and you are great guys/gals. Love your car the way I love mine and move along. Assinine comments are not needed, you act like your pushing an Evo.
