Anyone using carbotech XP-16 pads?

I am thinking about running these pads on my 1G dsm and I can not find anyone running them. I thought that maybe someone on here might have them. If you are using these pads what do you like/dislike about them?

I would call the Carbotech guys they will set you up with the correct pads for your usage.

I run XP 12's on my Evo and love them. Carbotech makes great stuff.

My buddy runs the XP-12's on his Time attack car, he loves them. I am running the XP8's on my street/track car and I needed to remove them for the street because they goot too damn loud. But at the track with heat in them they are great....

I've had good experiences with them, though I like the Raybestos line a bit more.

xp8s even cold were not bad at all. Didnt feel like I needed to heat them up much.
For anyone looking for a great track combo that, imo, is great for an under 350 awhp evo, XP8s with Brembo LCF 600 plus Race brake fluid. I am using this combo and my evo feels like Im throwing an anchor out back when I slow down. Really low compressibility fluid that showed no fade. Over 350 you MAY still be ok but I can only speak from experience.

XP-16's???? Are you running an unlimited class time attack machine? I run XP12's and when I was on Star-Specs it was all too easy to bump ABS on the track due to the bite of the pads. Now I am on NT01's and the XP12's don't overpower them as easily, but they still have plenty of bite.

I like the pads (XP-12's), good feel on the track, predictable and linear with a nice sharp initial bite. Never drove them on the street, waaaay too much pad for street tires IMHO.

Yep. I am running xp8s with 265/35/18 star specs and even at 100+ the pads can easily overpower the tires. Xp16s sound like overkill for OP, imo.

I'm trying to stop my car from 150+ mph but I think the xp8 will be good. If I had the money I would buy a brakeman kit but I don't have 2100 bucks to throw down on a set of brakes.

My evo is still fairly stock. I only need to stop from 124 mph at the end of the straight. 150+ mph sounds like it would be a fun ride.
