Puffing white smoke above 5k RPM

My car recently started puffing white smoke. It only happens when I get over 5000rpm. It doesn't do it at all otherwise even when I'm flooring it.. Any ideas??

Blue/ Grey smoke would be oil, black smoke to much fuel, and sorry to say but white smoke is water(coolant) head gasket maybe? Any over heating? Or shaking/ hesitation?

Hmm headgasket is what I am leaning towards but could it be because its running lean? I remember logging my car a while back and at high rpm it would knock a little could that be related ??

lean mixtures cause knock, knock is detonation, detonation blows HG's

I guess my best bet at this point is to try the stock tune and see if its still puffing. If it is then to do a compression test and ill know right away if its the head gasket

Just did a compression test. Readings are about 182 psi per cylinder. So I guess it's not the headgasket... must be running lean at high rpm and puffing smoke..

I don't think running lean would cause white smoke, did you pull out all the spark plugs than do the test or just one by one? You didn't notice any white corrosion on the electrode part of the spark plugs? You sure its not condensate?

I did them one by one. Spark plugs dont look bad at all. I dont think its condensation as soon as I get to 5000rpm smoke just starts coming out of exhaust until i let off. Other than that it never puffs at all. I know that the car knocks at 5k rpm... But it does the same thing with stock tune... So what else could it be...

Check your oil and coolant levels for possible consumption.
Remove the radiator cap and run the car at idle and low revs while looking for air bubbles to appear.
It may still be the head gasket, just that it has not completely deteriorated as yet.
