Good:
Fun car with decent engine. Car feels faster than many higher hp cars.
Decent Handling. (Rear sway bar makes a huge difference)
All around good bang for your buck
Fairly Reliable (As long as preventative maintenance has been done.)
Can be had for cheap

Bad:
Cheap Interior (Although this didn't ever bother me)
Poor resale (Although most of these cars depreciation has already happened)
No LSD
Probably dying aftermarket support for the car given age
Timing belt has been know to break prematurely when using non-oem parts.

I drove my Ralliart for 8 years. It was mostly trouble free. Only had two issues. The fan control module went out ($70 and extremely easy DIY repair) and my thermostat froze open (~$125 including labor).

I loved the car and occasionally auto crossed. With the rear sway bar the car would lay down very competitive lap times stock. I would have bought the car again 10 times over.

Just thought I'd add that you can get a fan control module for a Mazda MPV, don't remember which years but it's the exact same and I got mine for $32.

I have owned my 04 ralliart for 12 years and has only gave me a couple major problems. Fan control mod and alternator voltage regulator went! I keep up on all my maintenance! The car just rolled over 200000. I plan on keeping it and passing it on to my nephew when he is able to drive! Great handling and decently fast! Would definitely recommend! Can get parts from road race motor sports, not sure on what they still have available for this model. I have recently ordered a couple things from there that were still available. Hope this helps out any!
