So if i get a grounding kit from ebay for my new system that i am going to install, will the wires eventually loose quality, well at least quicker than the dealership ones? Or will they be about the same?

I would suggest going to www.sounddomain.com and buying 4ga cable and crimp on ring terminals. That's really all you need. I estimated a total of 18ft of cable, plus 3 packs of 4 ring terminals (based off the diagram posted before with 6 connections) for a total of $34.35 plus shipping. This is using OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) cable and gold plated terminals which is as good of an electrical path as you can achieve with normal funding. It won't be as pretty, but that shouldn't be a driving force for this kind of mod.

I just got mine done today... by http://www.groundfusion.com and its kicking ***... I had to wait to see any differences as I think the ECU has to adjust to the change... but of the bat.. idle is smoother and throttle response is smoother as well... i noticed my volt gauge was running right below 14 before the install now... its exactly at 14.....also power windows are a bit faster and they dont slow down when I do 2 or 4 windows at a time. Stereo seems a bit louder.... and I think, still not sure .. Im getting about 2 miles more per gallon... but that might be me. Got pulled over this morning for illegal tint and exhaust so I slowed down all day. Cop let me go with a warning .. even gave me a peace sign when he passed by me on the way out.... and told me my car was very nice. At any rate .... mine was the first ralliart http://www.groundfusion.com had done.. .and now he has all the measurements to sell a kit.. if you guys are interested.... I will post pics tomorrow to show quality of wires and grounding points... its a really clean install and no original grounds were cut... just piggy backed off...... Total 9 grounding points.
NICE!!!!!

I'd love to see some pictures of the kit. I'm also curious to know all the grounding points they used.

Hey Jeddi, are your grounding wires still going strong after so many months? Any noticeable wear or discolouring?

Thanks.

Well i finally got my grounding kit today and im as happy as RottyM is! i knew i was gonna get the today so i did a few runs around here from point A to point B to check speed vs. Rpm numbers and Mivec and xmsn shift points. well to say the least the one that does not know anything about cars notice a difference right away, My wife! i told her it was cables to improve the sound on the stereo....hehe! on my automatic wagon Mivec kicks in followed by overdrive all the way up to about 95mph then it shifts(about 6100rpm) ....today it went to 6500rpm it actually touched the Redline and it shifted at about 107(i have a GPS to get accurate speed readings. when i reconected everything and started the car the rpm went crazy up to 1500 and back down to like 400 and then it got stable after like 10 seconds and i started playing with the headlights and the A/C and all i have to say is that everyone need a grounding kit...my wife said the car felt "strange" well with the grounding kit ,Q's advanced oil ,and air intake it smokes the tires when it shifts... (not common for automatics) now if my wife would get me that blue bottle for fathers day............
