First 4 into 1 proto type header complete for Ralliart
Hey everyone....... just wanted to keep people informed that J.A.P.'s 4 into 1 header is complete, on the car and had a dyno run....for the 2004 Ralliart..... it took a while cause of other projects but is complete....Pictures and dyno sheet will follow shortly.... It will be in next issue Sport Compact National along with info about our MCCC meet at Cooksville Mitsubishi..which had 142 Mitsubishi vehicle's there....and almost 200 vehicles total...(Mississauga, Ontario...Canada)........ Our dyno run posted just under 159 to the wheels along with our short ram intake....Torque was improved and fuel/air ratio is solid with no engine lights... in other words good........ I believe stock...the Ralliart is around the 143whp........ When we produce the 4 into 1....we will have a slightly improved version then the prototype..with hopefully better gains...Cooksville Mitsubishi already carries out SRI and will carry our Header very soon.... Just keeping all you Ralliart guys informed.... we will be fabricating a OZ lancer header in the near future and possibly a Turbo......Thanks, Tim (J.A.P. Auto Repair and Performance).

RPW has been looking for a test fitter for the headers..... As far as I know they havn't completed it yet........ The pics are now on the thread..... I still have to scan the Dyno chart and post it..... sorry about the wait..... The header will be carried by Cooksville Mitsubishi in Mississauga Ontario when released....... it will be very soon....... It will be available with ceramic coating...... the pics are of the prototypes.... so the real production ones will be much cleaner looking with no welds on the tubes etc........

So what about a Downpipe like what RRM has done? Would that be an added improvement over whats currently there? Or would the combo of the header, downpipe and cat back just cause blow through?

There is restriction and some flaws if you take off the header on your stock.........but Mitsu did do a good job reguardless......... we do get gains on these headers..... and for me I feel like it definately pulls a lot harder in the weaker gears like 3rd gear..... top end is much improved....... but ultimately......it's no turbo...... the 4 into 1 header goes almost to the cat........ so no need for downpipe.... hope this info helps
no need for downpipe........ I have a pic of the header before it was put on the car...in the prototype stage......along with the dyno....I just have to scan it.....everything will be posted soon.....
still in the process of calculating price and everything.................. I'm not selling it though........... it will be through the dealer most likely........... I'm just giving people the heads up that it will be available. If I do decide to sell through evom.....I will get a vendor permit first..........
