it'll be fast. No doubt about that.

Just look at TurboTech's RA. boosted to 19 PSI, he was putting out over 400 whp!

RRM's won't be as dramatically boosted as that, but I would say easily 70-80 whp increase (at a lower PSI).

I Think , since it has the Mivec Engine, Three hundred WHP Minimum with the RRM kit, MINIMUM at about 11 psi Stage I

With the low compression of the MIVEC engine, I could see some mad boost coming. I think the rods need some help. A researcher at my college said 20 psi might be the point where forged rods are needed. It's not a fact, just a bit of specualation at this point. I think that 230 whp is all the Ralliart needs to keep up with the EVO on the highway. Unless someone gets some mad hugh drag race tires, I really don't see anyone taking an EVO from a stoplight. With enough power you can reel one in, but AWD launches are sic.

Ralliart doesn't have low compression... in fact it is still at a 9.5:1 just like the 4G94 counterparts. The pistons in the motor are ceramic paded and the rods are nice. I would say that they could easily handle 15psi but after that your playing with fire. My personal goal for the RA is about 260whp/wtq. This should be easily done at 10-12psi which is well withing the acceptable limits of the car.

The ralliart has short gearing, which should make it keep up with the EVO just fine. Though on the highway I can tell you the EVO is a little bit slower than you would expect.

Their turbokit should gain around a 100HP increase at the wheels...so expect a little less than 250whp, and sense the RA weighs about 500lbs less than an EVO it will be able to take it easy when beating an EVO! Or you will have a smokeshow at teh line and then catchup with an EVO. BTW, what is safe to rev the RA to?

9.5:1 is not high compression. I would more or less call it mid grade. It's not 11.0:1 like an RSX Type-S and it's not 11.5:1 like a Carrera GT. I think 15 intercooled psi would be fine on premium gas. However, I would upgrade the injectors and run a little rich to be safe.

9.5 is high for pump gas... especially CA 91 **** water

Every tuner is different though so i say... tune it hot, tune it lean, and watch it SCREAM(BOOOOOOM)!

I've blown a few motors so i'm always pushing the edge... The Ralliart will not be tuned this way but what a fast sucker it'd be if it was... for a few seconds anyway.
