The 2.5 RS loses because its pushing a wussy engine (a mere 160HP) to a AWD drivetrain. There is too much grip and not enough power to push it. The WRX (non-STI) would be a better car to race with the Ralliart after some good bolt-ons.

 

so how do we stack up against a nissan 350z on a track ......i've experienced it on the road and beeen on both sides at the end but always close.......

One followed me tonight on the freeway and got next my side, and rode there for awhile, he would give a bit gas, I would too. We didnt race, but I knew he wanted to, he followed me up the dam hill, so with the open road, we just drove side by side (yes i know it sounds gay), i was waiting for him to gun it and than i was just to see how I fair, but i know 162 vs. 227 = teh death.

 

After about 80 mph the subie's loose a crap load of power. In my old Tiburon GT V6 I kept up with one on the freeway late one night on an empty section.

whaaaaa, we where both in 5th doing about 85-90. Your telling me, if he gunned it, i could have atleast kept up? I know I couldnt beat him, but stayed with him a bit? Dam, i wish i would have atleast try to see if he bite.

 

Don't get me wrong, he's still quicker - and still putting 20-30 more HP to the ground than us. And don't forget about that turbo spooling up.

 

Yes I got Ripped.However I think that was Due to the fact that I live in PA and bought the car in Jersey so I ended up paying both State taxes on the car and tag,Title,Blah blah blah.Plus the Dealership added a whole **** load of Extras ( FULL DETAIL,DOOR GUARDS,etc.) Plus the fact that I have a Higher APR than most other People.My Sticker Price was 20k.That was with Sun & Sound,Fully Loaded.I got the Car there cause it was the only place that could get me approved on a First time buyers program.So I ended up getting ripped,I should have Gotten the Evo for a $100 more a month.

 

that new civic si has a dohc and it sucks, i beat one by all most three cars.

I beat a new si with my cheese rocket (my mildly modified 95 NEON) they really are nothing special at all.
