S&S AMP

Greetings Everyone,

Does anyone know the exact name and model number for the Sun and Sound AMP that is located under the drivers seat? I would like to find the specs on this AMP.

Thanks.

the amp is underneath the driver's seat, and drives all the channels.

Unfortunately....I've been down this road before, trying to find out the specs. You can find the model number on the top of the amp (it's like 9-12 digits long). It won't do you much good. I contacted Infinity, and they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about.

I did not try Mitsu corporate though, so that may be a good place to start if you know who the right people to call would be. I don't! Good luck though! Would be great to see the REAL ratings of this guy

Update....

Well, there is no model number on the AMP at all just a stock number for Mitsu. I also contacted a Mitsu dealership in Ottawa as they have a custom shop right at the dealership and I know the guy very well from I used to live there. Anyways, he told me that there are no specs for this AMP. He has tried to get them directly from Mitsu and Infinity himself and they both said there are none. Isn't that jsut great. Oh well.

I contacted Infinity directly and they said.... "The RalliArt comes with an Infinity sound system????" The manufacturer doesn't even know where their products go. I guess as long as the money flows, they are happy!

In conclusion... we have an AMP and stereo system with no specs. All we know is that it has 350Watts. If someone does happen to find them by some fluke chance. Please post.

Thank you.

good finds, man...

I think what may be the case is that the reason Mitsu has Infinity sound systems is probably because of Chrysler. My assumption is that Chrysler has contractors from Infinity working in-house for them. They design a system to spec, and then they are built. So Infinity the company just slaps their name on it....

That's my thought, anyways.

It isn't even a 350 watt system its 315. Not to be nit picky. Any way I think mine sounds good enough that I'm not gonna upgrade.

Yeah, it's a good system. Very balanced sound. But a spec sheet would be nice!
