Did you have to remove the valve cover for this? Or did you just mask things off?

Yeah i had to remove it. it was very easy, and much better that way,no over spray on anything.

Ok...so next questions. What are the torque specs for the valve cover and did you just use the high heat paint??

Have you noticed any difference in power or heat tempertures without the shield on??

Why not just ceramic paint the headers then?? I think the bay looks better w/o the heat sheild on anyways.

Yeah new headers would look better, but i wanna go turbo next spring, so i'm gonna have a custom stainless steel header made to accept a TD05 turbo w/blow off valve.

if all goes well /w Marco, a standalone turbo header might happen pretty fast. while the kits are great (go RRM!), all the do-it-ur selfers would really like this. but, i dont know if you could expect a td05-compatable head to be made any way but custom.

for the mivec logo did you tape them off or just wipe them after you painted?
