tein coilover question

have a question, thought all of you who have the basic tein coilovers could answer for me, did a search but found nothing, 2 weeks ago i installed my rear coilovers, i set them at 30mm on the shaft, but when i measure the ride height they are different from one another, is this normal, all 4 coilovers are set at 30mm on the shaft, measuring from the centre on wheel to fender i get Left Front = 318mm Right Front= 323mm difference of 5mm between the both, in the rear,,, Left Rear=323mm Right Rear= 316mm difference of 7mm is this normal, has anyone ran into this when they installed their coilovers, i am new at the whole tuning thing,,,, when i try to adjust the front it throws the rear out of measurement and vis versa,,,

A car is not balanced equally from one side to another. You just need to play with the height a bit until you get it where you want it.

well from what i heard from lanceradam, if your automatic then the transmission is on your drivers side which means your left side will usually always be a bit lower for this reason, same with manual

its not a big deal , just set it to where it looks fine to you, dont worry about it, you cant really do anything about it

Corner weighting is kinda weird, it's best for handling, but it's gonna make your car look like it's ready to go off-road (jacked up.) The Evos I've seen that are corner balanced look like they're lifted, and I doubt the RA would be any better. Just set it up so it looks good to you.

No, corner balancing does the opposite, in fact. The car is put on four seperate scales. The best weight for each tire is figured out, usually even or with a little front bias, and each spring is raised either up or down to get to the proper weight. In a perfect 50/50 balance every tire would achieve the same tire weight on the scales with the driver and a half tank of gas in the car. for a 2800 Net Wt vehicle that is going to be 700 lbs per tire, but because one side of the car may have to be adjusted higher than the other side to offset your weight or the weight of the gasoline the car will be different heights at all the wheels.

i ended up droping all 4 corners 5mm, as a result the car seem equal on all 4 corners now, tein recomends 30mm of threat on the shaft all around, i'm at 25mm, i like the drop, alittle more bumpy but i can handle that, as i mentioned tein recomends 30mm and i'm at 25mm, you guys think i will run into problems, or hurt my suspension, i'm really corious to know what other guys have their teins basic's set at,

alignment can do all sorts of funny things, depending upon speed and how bad it is out of alignment.
