Saggy Rear Suspension

Us RA owners have the dreaded rear suspension sag over time. There was an old thread on this but it provided no conclusive answers.

The possibles causes were bad bushings or springs. Has anyone actually figured out how to fix this. I saw another old thread where the sag was at the point where someon used a set of progress lowering springs to RAISE his car, can anyone confirm this or at least attempted this?

There really isn't a rear suspension sag issue on our car. Some people say it sags because the front appears to sit higher, but that's just the way the fenders are cut. If yours is sagging, you'll need to get in there and figure out what's wrong. It'll either be blown struts or a bad bushing.

The struts are brand new. Which bushing could it be?

This has been said a few times before, but do the Progress rear springs definitely raise the rear of the car?

Didn't raise mine, but didn't lower it, either.

When I first put them on the rear of my car was *maybe* .5" higher, but it settled within a week or two. I would agree with Mysz and say they match the stock springs.

is there anything that will raise the car at all, i assume its the bushings, because mine makes a disgusting squeak when i go over bumps. it sounds like a 1973 chevy pickup from the junkyard... and its starting to rub my rear tire every once in a while when i hit a bump the right (or possibly wrong) way.
