Broken lug stud, when to replace?

I discovered the other day when inspecting my car after I got my winter tires put on that one of the lug studs is broken. Obviously theres enough there otherwise the wheel wouldn't be staying on but I am concerned about its strength. Now as you can see in the photos that the broken lug has rust, I imagine it was like this for quite some time before I purchased the car back in March so it may be fine indefinitely, however I thought I would see what you guys think. From what I can tell, about 7mm of the stud is gone. Think I should be concerned with fixing this soon?

It's not a big deal, change it at your convenience if at all.
If we ever meet before you get to it, remind me to bring you a stud.
I have a spare.

i run 8mm spacers on stock studs, i think you're ok if you're only missing 7mm off one stud...

Go on kijiji and locally get a full set of proper Mitsubishi stock lug nuts for about $20.

Buy a new stud at the local parts store, press out the old and press in the new, a C-clamp will probably do it, although I haven't looked to see if there is clearance around the hub to do that.

doesn't need to be...unless you're constantly auto-x-ing...
and even then it should be fine either way...just a safety measure...

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
You have uneven torquing of the wheel to hub without all 4. Replace.

Its super easy and under $10.
