Tires/Wheels sizes help....

Ok I did a search and I'm getting conflicting sizes.

17x7 42mm offset with 215/45/17 does this work?

That is the exact size that I have on my Ralliart, and it's perfect!! It actually makes the car look like it was lowered, and fills up the wheel wells quite nicely!! No rubbing or hitting the Wheel Well either.

Might work ok. The older lancers had a 38mm offset but I've got 40mm on mine. Best thing is to get the same offset. I sell TDR Wheels that come in 38 and 40mm offset. Plus good deals on Toyo Proxes 4 tires. PM me for more info

I'm actually thinking I might get light weight 16's.
wheels and tires are such a pain in the *** i'm always changing my mind on what I want. 17's look nice but I don't want to wave goodbye to my acceleration.

This might be actually work. I have 205/45/17s on 40 offset and they fit fine- you can see pics on my homepage- they look good.
