Just got a 2013 Lancer GT. Plasti Dipped the chrome ring around the grille. Shot of during and one after.

 

It looks so much better blacked-out. I really don't understand this whole plasti dip sensation though... isn't it going to get nicked and peel from just being driven daily and having the cars in front kick up sand/rocks?

 

Yeah I agree with the black. I used plasti dip so if/when I sell my car I can return it back to stock. Its holding up very well so far. Ive had it on for 3 months now and commute to work every day.

 

Really? And it's stuck on this long with no issues.... maybe I should do this once there isn't 5 feet of snow outside lol

plastidip is great had it on my last car for a year as a dd not a single blimish, when it warms up gonna do the same to this car
