It's been widely known throughout rumor sites that a possible US premiere of Ralliart sedan will be at 2008 Detroit Auto Show so it's no big secret.

 

but its only been a rumor. and still might be just a rumor

 

any chance for a manual option cause all ive heard was sst, which would suck

 

I wonder how well it will compare to a WRX...

He said that one is going to an auto show. I was invited to go to the Detroit show early (before everyone else can get in) so I might be able to see this before the show starts. Depends on how they handle it though (since I'm going to the release of a different vehicle). They might just herd us all into an area where we can only see the new car we came to see. But then I do get to go to the rest of the show on the regular days so I'll definitely be seeing it then

Looks like I'm not the only one furum hopping Make sure to bring a laptop so you can share any early news/impressions you find with the rest of us.

 

I definitely will be checking it out if it's there since I'm in the market for a fun to drive but decent gas mileage daily driver sedan with AWD and all the current options are just too expensive (335xi, G35X, IS250 AWD, Audi A4) or not motivating enough (Subaru WRX *yawn*). The Ralliart might be perfect.

they showed that same exact lancer ralliart from the fuzzy pic on a new mitsu comercial I saw yesterday it was in front of all the other mitsu cars.

 

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I just hope it comes with a sunroof option and fold-down rear seats. Oh, and I hope it's released sooner than Fall 08 since I don't think my current car will last that long.
