First 09 Ralliart Review
I would guess that the packages together will cost around 2.5-3k. On a GTS it cost 3600 but you also have to pay for fast key which is standard on the Lancer Ralliart .
So you give up fast key and get recaro seats.
Again i think they will keep a fully loaded Ralliart around 29k, its about a 4k gap between a ralliart and an Evo.
You can buy a fullly loaded Evo for around 34k, so a fully loaded Ralliart at 32k is a bad for sales for Mitsubishi.
27 fully loaded and they would sell really good. 28k is my guess, the dealer guy i talked to said 27k for a loaded Ralliart.

good read thanks, man I"m seriously considering one of these if I can't find a nice used 9 or x by then. Seems like a perfect replacement for my speed6.
Price depending though. If it's comming in at $30k I'd rather get a evo x gsr.
I wonder how hard it would be to swap tubros with a stock x's turbo...Then tuning.

32k loaded seems a bit high
Still hoping for a 28-29k fully loaded, otherwise im buying a G8.
A GTS fully loaded only cost about 3 over the base
Arnett said a mid 20's price range
I think 27-29 fully loaded seems reasonable and if the base price is too high, they wont compete with Subaru

19,240

Thats about 6000 over the base with the proper packages and the ralliart will probably have a recaro/hid package.
Eh its unlikely it will be only 27 - 29... The packages will be over 2000 each.. Theres probably going to be 3 of them so I mean the base of the car will be a competitive point but anyone who wants the tech (me) can get it. A loaded gts only 3000?

Pretty sure just the nav and roof alone will be $2,500.
If the SSS package on the X is already $2,000 I'm thinking the HIDs/Recaros/Rockford on the RA will be more than $2,000 considering the seats cost more than the tall spoiler. I'm thinking $2,500 for the RA SSS package.
I don't think many people realize that, when you match the Evo, option for option with the Ralliart, the Ralliart is still much cheaper. Doesn't really make sense to compare a fully loaded Ralliart (with HIDs, Nav, leather, sound, sun, etc) with a featureless base model X. The Ralliart isn't going after the people who would buy a GSR, they're going after people who like what an MR offers, but don't want to pay the extra $10k.
For people who want a quick car with an automated transmission, going with the Ralliart will save them $10-$12k over buying a MR. Mitsu's target base price for the Ralliart is ~$26k, to keep it in line with the WRX (starts around $25k). Load up a WRX with the options you can get with a Ralliart, and it hits $29k fast, and that's without leather and the transmission.

its an awesome car! my estimate... ralliart starts at $24,000.. $2000 for sun, sound, hid, fast key... $2500 for navi.. $1000 for "sport package with recaro...?" fully loaded just below $30k... an evo X with comparable equipment.. its gonna be the MR.. $38k.. it's still $8k lower... sounds reasonable

I for one would want the recaro's but depending on how much the package is taking into consideration whatever the base price is, I may have to opt for the optionless model.
I actually can't wait till evo m evaluates it since I think we will get a more detailed account with more info that pertains to the majority of readers here. Considering that I was thinking of a VW 4 door GTI (I need utility as well as auto for lifestyle changes), the RA is a better choice. Although Mitsu reliablity isn't stellar, the horror stories of VW's is down right scary. And considering I want to keep this 5+ years as a DD, weekend car ... I just might join the DSM family.
All we can do for the next 4 months is speculate really. At this point no one really has a solid price or release date for this vehicle. Even the dealers don't have a clue. I was at one dealer today asking questions and for twenty minutes they tried selling me the Galant Ralliart before it finally sank in that I wanted a Lancer.
