I've been quotiing this left and right, but hopefully if we keep saying it, people will start believing. If I hear "all I'm gonna get is the sunroof and seats" too many more times, I'm going to go nuts.

Also, note that you have to get the Sport Package if you want the Premium Package. (Or at least that's what I recall seeing.)

I for one am glad that Mitsu decided to offer these 2 seperate packages. For instance, I'd rather just have a regular stereo, seats, and HIDS. It'll be nice if they stick to it. Now all we need are the Recaros from the MR, that'll be the day!

I sorry for asking stupid questions here and there and I don't want to be the cause of your insanity. But heres another noob question; do you have to get packages to get the extra stuff. Reason being is all I would like to get is the Nav and "maybe" the seats...

It's cool, man. I understand nobody sees every post or believes everything they hear. I was mostly just joking around when I said I was going nuts.

To answer your question, I'm ALMOST entirely certain you'll be getting the seats, HIDs, stereo, and sunroof if you want the nav. As far as I know, the Premium Navigation package requires the Sport Package.

WEAK! I can live with out a 650 w sound system (my hearing is bad enough). I HATE HIDS! Blind me every time I see them on the room in the hills of Southern Calirfornia. The thought of glass above my head in case of a roll over (happens all the time on the road the leads to my house) isn't very comforting. ERG! I hate car companys... >.<!

One or both of these:
1. Preproduction car, still in the process of final tweaks.
2. Non-disclosure agreement.

The engine itself is identical to the one in the Evo, right down to the 86mm-by-86mm bore and stroke, semi-closed-deck block and forged crankshaft and pistons. A Mitsubishi product planner tells us that the engineers considered using less aggressive camshaft profiles for the Ralliart, but decided to keep them unchanged. Even the compression ratio is identical at 9.0:1
i thought the RA came with less aggresive cams?

No. The pricing for the car itself hasn't even been released yet so naturally the information for options is not out either.

That's what we all thought but I don't think it was ever a confirmed rumor. If you read in the article though the information that the cams are the same as the X's isn't concrete either although it is much more credible coming from a Mitsu product planner who worked with engineers.

Let's all hope the only difference is indeed the turbo and the intake system and of course the ecu tune. Could mean some relatively easy, cheap modding.

Both. Everybody gets to a "first drive" with doing any real testing and then in a couple of months all the big mags and Edmunds will get bring their test equipment next time.

IF it's in the $26K-$29K, me too. Okay, I lie, I'm waiting to see if the RA Sportback makes it into production.
