Get your Ralliart Now
The car I have ordered (Canada) was manufactured on or before August 15, so the time frame you have for the US seems about right, except that my dealer is now claiming that the car was shipped out from the plant in Japan on Aug. 15... doubt that, but sounds promising regardless.
They can order them, and they ought to have a two-page hot sheet on prospective Ralliart buyers -- apparently there will be more info from Mitsubishi Canada (going to dealers) early this week, including MSRP. I'm supposed to find out what the MSRP on my Ralliart (Premium) is on Tuesday or Wednesday, assuming that timeline holds. My guess is there will be a public announcement up front of me finding out, so just keep googling '2009 Lancer Ralliart Canada MSRP', and see what turns up :-)
No more ralliart for me. Is not coming to this country, and even if eventually is does come, no timeframe is available, so could be in 6 months or 12 months or ..
I couldnt believe it, how is mitsu gonna do that?
So, I asked about the evo X, but only one version is coming , and is the GSR with absolutely no packages, so for me its crap, cause of the very high price $54500 cause the only evo X I would have bought for that price is the MR. To make it worse, its coming yes, but without factory warranty, amazing haha. Poor suckers that buy it like that.
So mitsu is now in the past for me, that is why I havent post in a while, so had to go and check other cars. Went and see the new audi A4 but the engine is 1.8T FSI with only 163hp for $56000 so for me that is a no-no in my enthusiastic book.
Seems the audi here is mostly for older people and people that are frugal, so the main options are diesels.
So, as it is, all bad news kept coming, well, so I crossed the street and went to the BMW dealership.
Finally, a good news in the bimmer stealership. Seems the 328i is quite a very good choice in terms of equipment and the engine vrs the audi a4, its a little more expensive, but definitely is worth having those much more ponies and very good perfomance. So Im gonna buy an 09 facelifted 3 series and its coming till january, but well, since I have already waited long for the ralliart, few months aint gonna be such a big deal.
So now Im a huge fan of bmw craftmanship and status and I have been reading info and reviews, of the 328i and well, Im quite impressed. Such a winner no doubt. If u ask why not go for the 335i, its simple, costs $82000. Anyway, the 328i gets pretty good numbers and amazing fuel efficiency and well, huge leap in the interior fit and finish and materials quality vrs the RA, among other better stuff that comes in the bmw.
The ralliart was a nice car, especially a fun to drive car, but circumstances changed, and now my destiny is quite different, so Im gonna pay more than I had planned for the RA to have in my garage the ultimate driving machine.

If you wait a year to get a cheaper price I don't think its worth it. Unless your paying cash for the car you're looking at maybe $20 a mo difference in payments for another $1-1.5k financed.
But if you wanna wait and not enjoy it, then be my guest ^_^

I'd probibly still have money left over to get gas. Good luck pushing your GT-r around. Hope it gets you some tail. 73k psh.
I could even have enough for a couple of drinks.
So are you guys getting the RalliArt now? or waiting for the first set of TSB's? I talked to some of the dealers around here and they know absolutely nothing outside of how much they want as a down payment or deposit.
I've tried to get in touch with several of the dealers around MD, and none of them seem to really give a **** about my business unless I'm buying an EVO. Haven't decided what I'm going to do, I'd rather buy the Ralliart than a WRX, but the Subaru dealers around here are much more responsive and interested it seems...
