Probably because their sales are down.... haha....I'd call the DE stores. You'd be surprised how much nicer some of them are. Plus some are taking deposits and talking pricing for pre purchasing.

 

You are saying that Subaru sales are down? They actually reported record breaking sales for the month of August. If I am not mistaken, one of only 3 manufaturers to report a positive sales month. One of the other being nissan, and I don't know what other.

I was told 26.5k with the recaro's from a DE sales guy. Mind you the recaro's only. Not the whole kit. Not sure he can pull that off but if he can I am strongly considering it. Problem is I really really prefer stick. Next year all the articles are saying it shall be done, but you never know. So, To wait or not to Wait that is the question. How impatient am I and will I regret getting the auto-manny?

 

I was talking about the specific dealer he went to to get a price. Not scoobie's or mitsu's in general.

lol I went to a new random mitsu dealer yesterday to see what the chumps knew and they just stared at me like deer in headlights.

"Hey do you guys have any new info on the lancer ralliart or estimated arrival date?"

"A what? I havent heard of that"

"You know, the lancer with the turbo/awd, and twin clutch"

"OH, You must mean a MR, yea I have 2 of those on the lot"

"No..I mean a ralliart.. costs 12g's less... less hp.."

"MR?"

"...*sigh*..."

 

I asked Burdick Mitsubishi in Cicero, NY and they said "No clue."

I think dealerships place orders at least a month out, so I think we're looking at November at the earliest unless they've just been instructed not to tell us when they're going to be on the lots. This is a bit odd, since the same dealer in July when I asked if they'd be here in September, said "or August". I wonder if they have had a slowdown building them...not enough trannys or something like that would be my guess.

 

I talked to the guys in turnersville. They already placed the order for their floor models and are accepting payment for people who want to pick their paint and package. It should be arriving the last week of Oct., But he did say mitsu delivery times are adjustable due to weather and shipping issues, so early Nov is a possibility but he said for the most part he could guarantee that it will be before the 2nd week of Nov at the Latest.

 

Wowsers... that is sad. the dealers down here in SFL know about it.

 

Hmmm, local dealer told me possibly w/in the next 60 days, but also said it could arrive in spring of '09... WTF, big difference there. I'm interested to test drive one & see how it compares to my MR & try to convince my parents to get one... lol
