at my dealership, a sales rep that i was talking to told me (during a previous visit) that he was going to get information at the beginning of august. i was there a couple weeks back and the first things out of his mouth when he saw me was, "don't ask me about the ralliart!!" (of course, in a joking manner).

unfortunately, he didn't get any information about the ralliart, but he did mention that he was able to order six of them. and they weren't for any customers in particular.

as for another dealership around my area, they didn't have any information when i gave them a call.

Mitsu MUST be deathly affraid of the '09 WRX to keep delaying shipments of the RA. They are just sitting at the ports. Mitsu must be rewriting all of the window stickers for "standard" equipment and "optional" equipment and *hopefully* the prices too!!!!

Lower prices= for ...

Am I right? Who really cares. The car should be on lots already, and unfortunately they are not...and dealerships are forced to just sit on their

This, of course, means 2nd week of Nov. at the earliest. I'll stop my local dealer and see if I can anything definite out of them, ie., ordering floor models, etc.

I heard there was a delay due to a default found in one of the rollers for the SRS system that was being fixed first. Weather that is true or not who knows. It could be a mitsu lie to keep us atease about the delay in shippment from the local ports. I do know that the dealer orders are arguing about the low count of them being deliverd and allocated to each dealership. Every dealer thinks this will sell alot more then the GTS and the evo by advertising it as the evo 9.5 for some reason to kids who don't know the difference.

The initial low volumes are probably due to plant capacity. The plant that makes all Lancer variations is currently at capacity trying to fill orders globally. This was the case even before Ralliart production started. I'm not saying this IS the reason for the low NA vehicle allocation issue, just a hunch.

They might as well take out all the airbags and seatbelts and shave 200 pounds off the car while their at it...two 4 point harnesses and engineered safety cage will work just fine.

I'm sick of this waiting..... picked myself up a 02 BMW M3 today with only 25000 kilometer's on it (15.5k miles) and can't be happier, don't think I'll miss the awd with 333hp under my foot and a sweet shifting 6spd manual!!

At my local store they mentioned somewhere early-mid november. Although as the conversation was going on with the guy I noticed that he KNEW about it but did not really KNOW the car. And then almost at the end he said something like "... about that OZ Rally you were asking about." DOH! He was sooo close too! The had ZERO pricing information and said something like mitsu hadn't release them any pricing...

Oh you will. Once the plague of problems start they never end.

Arrival Date

I called Burdick Mitsubishi in Syracuse, NY and the salesman I was talking to called over to another salesman who was in the ordering computer at the time and he said their first allocation is the beginning of December. They sounded frustrated by it, so I think there really might be a manufacturing delay.

Same with the Deleware Mistu dealer. =( I am just going to wait for the 2010 model at this point. I want the hatch more and more anyway. Plus with a manny in the works I think I am all in for the hatch now.
