RalliArt Test Drive (Merge)
I dont like the orange one at all.
Really? I talked to my NY stealership the other day and they said the same thing, December.
the one in Orlando, is going for that price.
Sound package, recaros, etc W/O NAVI was for 27.6.
And for the orange color, it still looks good for the car.
I wouldn't get it but it def stands out.
I like the white one which I have yet to see in person.

Another Ralliart Test Drive Write Up
Drove a GG Ralliart @ Faulkner in Quakertown, PA today. (They have three in stock. For what it's worth, the salesman claims they don't expect any more to arrive before calender year '09.)
Base car, no Recaros or anything. I don't know why everybody complains about Lancer interiors so much; it certainly didn't seem too awful to me. Nice driving position, not too low, not too high. Spoiler ruins rear visibility a bit, but it's livable. The console shifter is a bit too far of a reach, but that's not a huge dealbreaker at all.
The car seems to pull pretty nicely on the street once it's in boost. It's certainly not the animal my friend's IX is, but nobody really expected it to be. I didn't really get too much time on back roads, so I can't really speak to the handling aspect, but it wasn't bad from what I could tell. The rev-matched downshifts in sport mode are very cool, and the transmission seems decent.
This is definitely a car I would considering owning, but I still have a few more test drives to take.
One thing that did concern me -- I smelled something when we brought the car back into the dealership that I suspect might have been clutch. Anybody else have a comparable experience with the TC-SST yet? (Newb disclaimer: I THINK I know what clutch smells like, but I'm not at all certain.)

The smell may have been some of the coatings and oils on some of the parts applied during manufacturing. Most new cars smell a little when they are driven and everything gets heated up for the first time. It goes away after a few days.
The car didn't have too many miles on it at all, so I guess that makes sense. Just a little worrisome that it could have been clutch, considering nobody is really all that sure how durable the TC system is anyhow. Don't get me wrong though -- I really liked the car.
