All reports say the engine is the same internally. Smaller turbo, intercooler/piping, different intake, battery moved back to the engine bay, and different ECU tune. The exhaust is actually identical to the EVO stock.

the MS3 doesn't produce ANY AWHP. It's front wheel drive. Show me a 2009 WRX dyno sheet showing 255 ALL WHEEL HORSEPOWER. WHEEL HORSEPOWER, NOT CRANK HORSEPOWER.

I have no dyno sheets or any other technical schematics but according to your logic the Ralliart is actually the best car in its class and out performs the competition? If thats true then sign me up for one.

 

Best in class? Not at all. Decent competitor, compensating for a bit of a performance gap by having stronger content? I'd like to believe so.

If you dislike Mitsu., the Evo X, Ralliart Lancer so much then why in the hell are you on these boards so much? Bimmerforums is only a few mouse-clicks away.

You get quite a bit of kit in the Ralliart for $27,000. Name me another car with 3 LSD as standard equipment. These things aren't cheap. Is Mitsu. giving these cars away? No. Their in the business to make money, not friends. Like every other car company.

But how can anyone take you seriously if you think the Mazdaspeed 3 has an AWD system and that the 09 WRX drivetrain system is so efficient that it only loses 10 HP by the time it gets to the wheels?

 

Sorry to interrupt your laugh but... In never said MS3 has AWD.. i said the the ralliarts AWD should not be out handles by an FWD mazda..

I dont really care who you are "with".. but i am here cause i owned a 99 eclipse and a 03 POS lancer (hence the name ExcessLancer) and would like to get a mitsu ralliart or EVO mr in the future and this is the place to talk about those cars.

I dont hate mitsu i just wish they would run their company better so that they would stop loosing sales dealerships to the likes of hyundai and kia..

for the record i only drive the 323i cause i got it in 06 with 64K miles for $10K with full service history all complete.... my POS 03 lancer ES was falling apart and i needed a car that would last the life of my loan and negative equity from the POS lancer... I wanted an automatic EVO nine but mitsu decided not to release it in the US market

Oh , i see your little loop hole...LOL I didnt know that "AWHP" meant "AWD HP" since there was no "D" in there... I just thought we were comparing HP of the cars... YEs MS3 does not have AWD it is only FWD.
