Ralliart = Detuned Evo X?

Been just doing quick research since it caught my eye that the ralliart is pretty much a evo x with less power ??? Was wondering if someone could explain the differences other then the tranny/suspension/turbo.

Thanks.

Oh boy..

It's more of a "hopped up" gts..Actually its a evo 9 in a 10 body

Engine wise:
Same engine, smaller single scroll turbo
Different intake piping and manifold
Same evo exhaust

Trannywise:

Same tranny as the MR, 5th/6th gears ratios changed for fuel economy.
Lacks Launch and SSport

Suspension:
Same as gts with revised dampers and springs, prob larger sways as well

Body: Unique front/rear bumpers, doesn't have the .5" wider track of the evo

Interior: Standard fast key system, bluetooth, steering wheel controls
available recaro package from the evo

etc.. etc..

Nope not an evo

It's not really a IX in the a X body.
LOL
It's a IX in a GTS body.

But you just about wrapped it up.

not even a IX in the lancer body since the dimensions are different. But it is based on the IX drive train. 3 differentials and the 3 ACD mode.
it actually have more differences , but most of them for non racers are small things. Like the Battery in the engine bay . Good thing about that you have a bigger trunk space then a X.

So its a perfect performance oriented DD from mitsubishi

uh no.
I didn't mean it like that.

i def agree with Robevo RS.

The IX awd system has been integrated into a very well tuned GTS which includes the single scroll turbo.
It's what a R/A should be.

But there are some parts of the car that excel the IX.
And i don't mean just the R/A but the GTS as well.

Additionally,
I did say that TURBOPOWER was right mostly about everything else.
The tranny is the same, but not the components.

AWD= IX
Body = LANCER GTS

Pretty much. The suspension is the major difference between the two, the hp is 40 lower and the brakes etc.. It's a bargain MR lol.
